It features a mother praying over her baby in a clearing in the woods, possibly a depiction of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus. The panel features three raised shields on the lower portion, as well as beautiful decorative scrolling throughout the black border. The wood panel is detailed with a gesso like material. I am not sure if the image is an original painting or some kind of transferred
