though this cultivar is a little more rot prone than the normal species so take care not to overwater

giving a very attractive caudiciform look (see last picture)

The plant stays quite small is spineless (technically the plumes are spines, but they are quite soft). The tufts really do look like feathers or Dandelion plumes. Flowers regularly, with pink to yellow flowers depending on the individual. Easy to grow, just give normal succulent care of good light and careful watering. Protect from frost. You will receive a plant shown in the last image.
